Sub Zero

For those of you who were wishing for a white Christmas and did not get it, might I suggest an icy look to put you in the winter spirit.

I had a lot of fun creating this look using a new palette I picked up yesterday: Urban Decay’s Elements. It was on sale at Ulta and I could not help myself (seriously, stop me now).

I was not sure what to expect from the palette since my only experience with Urban Decay’s make up palettes has been the Naked3 palette (which I loved the colors but felt like there was too much fall out and it did not blend as nicely as other palettes) and my Smoked palette (which is nice but not one that I use often). I was blown away – great pigment, great blending, and the fall out was WAY better than the Naked palette.

The colors I used were Heavy Water (teal), Sapphire Dream (cobalt blue), Electric Air (silvery blue/purple), and Luna (sheer white).

My water line was colored with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil (Chaos) and I slightly smoked out my bottom lashes with another Urban Decay Eye Pencil (Deep End) which blended almost seamlessly with Heavy Water.

Slap a little of my go to mascara (Lights Camera Lashes by Tarte) and got my glow on with some Skin Frost (Ice Cold).

To finish off the look, I painted my lips with Jeffree Star Liquid Lip Velour (Restraints) and then dusted it with layers of Heavy Water, Sapphire Dream, and Ice Cold.

No look is complete without a gentle dusting of cat hair on your clothes

Thanks again to everyone who took the time to vote on my story poll regarding what I should name this look.

Cheers!
