During Tarte’s end of the year sale, I picked up the Fierce and Flirty Eye Set (because I’m a sucker for cats).
I also wanted the chance to try some of the other Tarte mascaras since I am in love with their Lights Camera Lashes Mascara and I figure it’s been a while since I tried a liquid eye liner (hooded eyelids and amateur make up user equals it is everywhere).
While I did not hate the Maneater Mascara (I found it a bit too natural looking for everyday where but blended great with flash lashes), I was NOT a fan of the Maneater Liquid Eye Linear – at all. While it didn’t transfer because it dried quickly, seemed extremely streaky.
At first, I thought it was because I made it too thick.
However, I tried again with a thinner line and it still looked streaky.
I tried individually on my cheek along with my Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil (top line) versus Maneater Liner below.
So, while I love all the other Tarte products… I give the Maneater Liquid Eye Liner a thumbs down for now.
