A little over a week and a half ago, I wrote a post about the brand Karity and how wow’ed I was for having a good experience I had with the two palettes I had purchased back in October/November: Picante and Frost.
Based on these experiences, I ordered two more eye shadow palettes and a blush palette in late December and was ecstatic to have them in hand. Then, obviously, I died from the sinus plague and only to resurrect this week.
Despite being dead on the blog, I was some what alive in real life and ended up playing around with the Matte palette at some point last week. I felt the best way to see how pigmented and bright the matte colors were was to do the rainbow look that a lot of MUAs have been doing lately to show off the highly coveted James Charles Palette from Morphe (also because it matched the new shirt my MIL gave me that you can’t see in the pictures).
While it may not have as many colors as the James Charles Palette, I think this matte palette could give it a run for it’s money in terms of popping pigments.
Now, I will admit that my attempt at a rainbow doesn’t do this palette justice. But not bad for a first time try (that I also did fairly quickly compared to my normal make up looks).
You can definitely expect to see Karity’s Matte Palette in a lot of my future.
