Alice Isn’t Dead

Last Saturday, my husband and I were browsing Half Price books as I had recently finished The Other Queen and needed some new reading material. I was filled with glee when I looked over and saw a new copy of Alice Isn’t Dead by Joseph Fink and quickly moved to giddiness when I realized it was a signed copy.

While I’ve only listened to the first two episodes of the Alice Isn’t Dead podcast, I’m a huge fan of another one of Joseph Fink’s creations: Welcome to Nightvale (which he creates along side Jeffrey Cranor). In fact, my husband and I (along with my best friend and her husband) had just went to a live show in Saint Louis last October.

I originally was just going to post that I got my copy of the book and that it was signed on Instagram and call it a day. But my husband suggested that since I am having so much fun trying new make up, why not do some eye make up themed to the book?

“A truck driver searches across America for the wife she had long assumed was dead. In the course of her search, she will encounter not-quite-human serial murderers, towns literally lost in time, and a conspiracy that goes way beyond one missing woman.”

So I did.
